This year I'm going to find a CPA to do it. H&R has always had issues getting my regular, itemized return straight. I usually get the person who has to ask a ton of questions to their supervisor in order to fill everything out. This year I'm a business owner and have a lot of deductions so I don't want them to screw that up. I've had someone at H&R do my taxes that was a retired CPA and just did it in retirement who knew their stuff but it's hit and miss on how much experience they have. I know H&R has a 2 week training program before they let their people loose. I don't think you can learn it all in 2 weeks.

And their charges are outrageous! I always end up with a $300+ bill to get my taxes done there. They charge too many fees to just check a box for a certain form. I'd rather pay for the time of a professional.

She knew from the immediate blank look I gave her that I was clueless to her new found occupation. She then explained to me that she took a job in a coffee house preparing drinks. She described herself as a “Coffee Artist”. Unfortunately, I never got to see her in action in the coffee house.

I did visit a coffee house recently. The woman behind the counter read down a list of super fancy coffee drinks at light speed and then asked me what I wanted. Before I could answer she gave me a frustrated look as she moved and fluttered behind the counter unable to stand still.

I wonder how many Baristas have to go into espresso rehab?
